[Sponsored] Hada Labo Perfect Gel (3-in-1 Ultra Hydrating Gel)

Fancy having just one product that can be an essence, cream and mask all at once?

Being all essence, cream and mask at once (3-in-1), the Hada Labo Perfect Gel is also suitable for daily use with the ability to provide 24 hours deep moisturizing effect with its five main ingredients.

3 Types of Hyaluronic Acid for deep and long-lasting moisturization:
1.  Hyaluronic Acid is able to hold 6l of water per gram, providing intense moisture to the skin when applied.
2. Super Hyaluronic Acid is able to hold 2X as much water than Hyaluronic Acid per gram, providing maximum moisturization.
3. Nano Hyaluronic Acid is able to penetrate deep into the skin, providing long lasting and deep moisture to the skin.
4. Collagen to provide firm, elastic and wrinkle-free skin.
5. Ceramide to hold and repair the surface skin cells together for a healthy, smooth skin.

My thoughts

Received the product with very cute packaging!

360-degree view of the box, complete with instructions

The Hada Labo Perfect Gel has a rich cream texture that is non-sticky, allowing your skin to feel light even after applying. Its versatility and effectiveness has won the hearts of so many women that it is No.1. Sales in ‘All-in-One’ gel product segment in Japan.

The actual container
The Perfect Gel comes in a round container with no plastic spoon to help you scoop up product, which might not be appealing to the very hygienic. Keep you hands clean before touching the face, as always!

Pros

In terms of its moisturizing effect, it does the job well! I really like the gel-like texture, which allows it to act as an effective mask! With other sleeping masks, sometimes the product is so wet that it pools in certain areas, like my eyebrows OTL But with this, it stays put! (^_^)

The box does mention that you will have to remove it with toner prior to makeup, but I find it not necessary as the absorption happens really quickly. There's no oily feeling at all!

I used it as a daily moisturizer & a mask at night, and I really liked the feeling of waking up to hydrated skin in the morning XD Sleeping in aircon is drying after all. Will definitely keep on using it!

Cons

I'm quite skeptical about the effects of the collagen, since collagen is too big a molecule to penetrate the skin topically.

Very dry areas might experience slight stinging; I got it when I first applied this to my nose T.T

I would like it to come in smaller or tube-like packaging so that I can bring it around easier :P

Lastly, many thanks to Ek Media & Hada Labo for this sponsorship!

With love,
Amaya

[Sponsored] Naoki Yoshihara by ASH

Selfie :D

Hair Makeover 。◕‿◕。

Very blessed to receive an invitation by Street Angels SG to a hair makeover recently! Naoki Yoshihara by ASH is a very popular hair salon back in Japan, with over 1.2 million customers yearly and more than 100 branches within Japan itself!

Smaller face achieved!
If you see me now, the colour has faded quite a bit to a dark brown shade T.T But hey, it isn't too bad for a first time colour :DDD

I was treated kindly and professionally by all the staff! The receptionist was humorous as well: "Coffee, Tea, or me?" LOL.

Photo with Atsuko/Tsubaki of NinjaGirlsSG! So pretty *A*
Atsuko-san, Iwai-san (owner of Naoki Yoshihara by ASH in SG) and Ishikawa-san (top stylist in whole of ASH group) were friendly and accomodating! Atsuko-san took time to translate all of Ishikawa-san's recommendations and explanations for them. Many thanks to them (^_^)

My hair was dyed and cut by a friendly Malaysian stylist, Ayu! She's a top stylist there. She was surprised I could understand Cantonese LOLOL :P Throughout, Ishikawa-san would provide some guidance and ask if I was okay XD Felt in good hands at all times :D

Anyway, check out their cover photo!

Image from FB.

The model at the left looks soooo pretty! Makes me tempted to try short hair, if not for the snail pace it's growing T.T

What's more! From 15th July to 30 September 2013, you get to enjoy 30% off for all hair services! Terms and conditions apply.

P.S. I really went to count how many branches they had okay (http://www.ash-hair.com/salondata/). Check out their branch in England XD

[Lolita] Phantom of the Opera by Krad Lanrete

Photos are all from Krad Lanrete unless otherwise stated.

Recently, I went to catch Phantom of the Opera (POTO) over at MBS theatres with a group of Lolitas! I didn't get many pictures (pictures with dollonstrings actually), but here's a sort-of related post featuring a POTO-themed Lolita collection!

POTO Skirt

The short version is 60cm while the long version is 77cm. Too bad you can't buy it unless you've paid a deposit for an advance order ):

My personal favourite is the black-gold combi XD

POTO One-Piece

Coming in the same colours as the skirt (blue, black & white), this also has a long and short version.

Close-up of the top half

Details on the sleeve

I really don't like the white version. It looks like a night gown to me oops.

Aaand that's it! This is a small collection from Krad Lanrete with only a OP and SK, with a long & short version for each type.

With a competition coming up in two weeks and school starting immediately after, you will see me vanish :P Don't miss me :P

With love,
Amaya

[anibee] Ani-Music: Yanagi Nagi

Album Cover for Zoetrope. Image from ichibanlyrics.

If you're a big fan of Otome anime Amnesia, then you will have definitely heard of Yanagi Nagi! Singing the fast-paced opening song Zoetrope, she's an upcoming star to keep a lookout for! Another opening that she has done for 2013 is Yukitoki for Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru.

Some of you might also know her as the guest vocalist for indie group supercell, for songs such as Sayonora Memories, Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari (ED song for Bakemonogatari) and Utakata Hanabi, just to name a few. She was also the main vocalist for supercell's second album, Today is a Beautiful Day.

In my opinion, her songs carry a very strong pop feel and thus, very inclined towards mainstream Japanese pop music. Still, there's enough uniqueness in her repertoire to set her apart from the rest! After signing on to Geneon Universal Entertainment (same management with fripside!!), she has released Vidro Moyou (ED for Ano Natsu de Matteru), Ambivalent idea (OP for Jormungand) and Laterality (ED for Jormungand: Perfect Order)

Not only has she contributed several songs to the ever-growing ani-music industry, she has collaborated with with Jun Maeda of Key (writer for visual novels Air and Clannad) to produce original concept album Owari no Hoshi no Love Song under Flaming June. You can read a quick review of the best-selling album over at my blog.

Just this month, she has released her first solo album, titled Euaru. Out of 14 tracks, she penned and composed 4! Moreover, it reached 4th on the Japanese Oricon charts. The first press release even includes a special cover CD, which you can listen to a preview here!

All in all, I think she will carve her own territory in the music industry with her clear soft vocals and unique taste in music. I hope that you can take note of her too :DD

[Event] Cosfest XII

Blogging one week after cosfest is over OTL I'm very late, but who cares XD I only attended on Sunday, so I missed the Shingeki no Kyojin and Cardcaptor Sakura team D:

Tried a new hairstyle today!

Reached about 12-ish with my smiley potatoes! They got really dry after a few hours, so I shall bring something more sustainable next time XD Met a few friends~

YAYYYY PRETTY WOMAN

Shera!

Dokuro! Of course I remember ._.

Pie by Kamelot! Forgot to take with her OTL But it's yummy!

And of course, took pictures of cosplayers! Not many since I was pretty handicapped carrying potatoes. Another note to bring something else next time. XD

REIKA!

....and the queue for her autographs and merch lol.

Tsubasa Chronicles!

Had an impromptu encounter with Clive, Caroline, Raistlin and Fishii~! Fishii is a Lolita fan too! :D Clive and Shinji had a pantomime showdown while waiting for the WCS results lol.

Me and Fishii~!

My overall thoughts was that the audio system was really bad OTL The anime karaoke segment was creative, but I think they can increase the difficulty by only allowing each singer to sing once. That way, everyone can get a chance to sing (whether they know the song or not) haha. And people won't be like 'I watched the whole segment and you didn't sing after all ):' Or you can keep these fans watching to the end. Pros and cons I suppose!

Shots of the stage

My camera really cannot take motion ._.

WCS Performances!

Team 5 doing Final Fantasy 11

They won, by the way

MUSE! Love Live.

Guest performing team!

Team Heart

Team Soul
Went out for dinner with Raistlin after the event, and ended up with random conversations and now we're planning to go attend an event somewhere together?!  LOL. We already booked the flight tickets and hotel already hahahaha AFA INDONESIA :D

On a side note, I actually found a picture of myself from the event ;_;

Thanks to Benjamin~!

Hope to meet new people at BonJapan's Cafe tomorrow~!

With love,
Amaya
