[Amaya Travels] Moments in Melbourne

Hello there!
Earlier this year, I took a short trip to Melbourne to visit some friends. Having friends meant free accommodation and insider information of best places to go, so I had my work cut out for me xD

It was a really stressful period for me then, so I ended up spending a lot time at home, trying to get two cats to love me xD After I came back, I nose-dived into work, and had a lot of computer trouble. =\

Felt way over my head like this dude here xD

Initially, I did not think I had enough content to post about this trip since I spent most of it hobo-ing...

Still, to celebrate the end of my computer troubles, here are some moments that I cherish from the trip!

First memorial I visited in Melbourne City
Lots of lovely flora and fauna in the Royal Botanic Gardens!

Pretty sunset before meeting up with friends!

Italian!

Buttermilk waffles. Yum!

South Melbourne Market!
For just one thing: oysters!!
Rows upon rows of chocolate!

When you give in to Asian food. XD
More breakfast places!

Pahran Market: Small, but still lovely!

Amazing art in the streets!
Great Ocean Road! Pity it rained, so not many pictures.

[Amaya Travels] Tokyo Japan (Sunshine City, Odaiba, Aoyama, Koenji)

♡  Sunshine City ♡

Sunshine City is a multifunctional urban complex featuring a variety of facilities including office buildings, amusement facilities, event space, shopping centers, and a hotel that receives over 30,000,000 visitors a year.

This place is a must-go for people who love anime and games! There seems to always be an exhibit going on, and the Pokemon Center and Namjatown are sure to entertain!

Chanced upon a Kuroko no Basuke exhibit!
Gyudon ;_;

♡  Odaiba ♡

Must-have shot of the Gundam! It's been taken down now ):
This man-made bay is pretty much self-contained - there is lots to see and do here!

Runaway kid, lol

Autumn colours <3
Wanted to ride the ferris wheel but decided that being so near the sun on a warm day isn't a good idea xD

Vintage car exhibit in Venus Fort, I think!

Shrine for Takoyaki?

Japan's Statue of Liberty!

♡  Aoyama Flower Market ♡

5-1-2, Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan
Tel: +81 3 3400 0887
Nearest Station: Omotesando

If you love flowers and tea, then you must visit the Aoyama Flower Market! Not all branches are cafes. Highly popular, do try to go on weekdays during non-peak hours to have sufficient quiet time!

Tried out an herb tea blend!

Separate serving tray for the dessert - rose tea parfait!

♡  Floresta (Koenji) ♡

3 Chome-34-14 Koenjikita, Suginami, Tokyo 166-0002, Japan
Phone: +81 3-5356-5656
Nearest Station: Omotesando

Floresta donuts is the home to most of the cute animal shaped donuts I always see on the Internet, so I had to go there! It was a pleasant find to see that the entire lane of shops was being promoted and developed into a shopping district. Would like to spend more time here some day!
I completely missed seeing the indoor seating area. Guess who ate donuts in the cold XD

Sells a variety of tea in small amounts, so you can buy many types home to try!

A few interesting stores!

Would anyone try these? XD

Hope to be back here again some day!
